In 2023, I took a twelve month approved sabbatical from my job as a UK Civil Servant in order to visit close family in Australia, as well as travel widely through-out Australia and New Zealand.

During this time, I also completed several successful house-sits, in both Australia and New Zealand-(Please see reviews).

These included looking after a lively and cheeky parrot for several weeks, caring for chickens and a very energetic and affectionate border collie for six weeks and then looking after a very cute cat in Australia for several weeks. I then looked after a property and gardens in New Zealand, followed by looking after another border collie and bottle feeding a baby lamb for a few weeks, also in New Zealand.

As well as caring for pets, I'm happy to undertake all associated household tasks and duties, including watering of plants, maintenance, etc.

I'm reliable, trustworthy, conscientious and friendly and will treat you house and pets as if they were my own.

I'm seeking house and pet sitting jobs anywhere in New Zealand, from mid December 2024 onwards and through to the end of January 2025 (I'm in NZ on holiday for approx 5 weeks).

Minimum 10 days/ 2 weeks preferred if possible. Use of a car would be a bonus, but not essential. I have a full, clean, UK driving licence.
