Are you looking for a peaceful break in the country? Our small lifestyle block (0.65 ha) offers tranquillity in a semi-rural setting within a quiet village of approximately 220 residents in Central Hawke's Bay.

Our location is ideal for those who enjoy both country living and convenience. We’re just 40 minutes’ drive from Hastings and only 20 minutes from the Waipawa and Waipukurau townships. The area boasts numerous walkways, and for avid trampers, the stunning Ruahine Ranges with their many tracks are just half an hour away.

Your only responsibility would be caring for our friendly Burmese cat, who is in her senior years but remains healthy and affectionate.

We are seeking a house sitter or sitters who are mature (30+) and reliable. An older couple or single person would be ideal.

Although we never met Kieran and Nicola because of timing they left us very clear instructions for their pets. The dogs went wit( them for their short break so we only had three gorgeous miniature ponies and the cat. By the evening of the first day, cat was happy to spend some time on Lionel’s lap, telling us both stories of their exploits out in the yard. The ponies just needed to be looked at two/ three times a day just to make sure everything was in order. Kieran’s home is well equipped ... MORE
