We are hoping to find a dog loving house-sitter for our Havelock North family home, while we are away for three weeks.
The home is not demanding to care for during winter. It has a fireplace, lots of wood and heat pumps. It’s located on the outskirts of Havelock North, just a 30min walk into the village.
The key role is to look after our 5 year old Springer Spaniel, who loves company and a decent walk each day. Our ideal scenario would be to find someone who works from home so that he is not left by himself all day.
We are also open to adding a local dog walking company to the mix if that helps us find the right person.

This was a wonderful housesit. David and Annabel were lovely to deal with and gave us clear and helpful instructions. It was a pleasure to look after their beautiful home, and especially to care for their delightful doggo, Barnes. He was great company, very well behaved and excellent fun.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
