Lovely property 10 minutes from Taradale 15 minutes from the centre of Napier. House on 20 acres which is managed separately to the house. The house is historic large but comfortable. Vegetable garden fruit trees ponds in a very pretty location. It needs two people or a couple to manage it for this length of time. There is lawn mowing to do which is easy with our ride on mower and small group of sheep to check up on there are no pets - we do have some friendly ducks. The local pub has fabulous food and there are a lot of biking tracks around us.

Doing the sit for David and Janiene was an educational and enjoyable experience. We learned a lot of new skills and also became very experienced about decision making on the spot. While dealing with some losses re lambs, which we understand is part of farming, the joy of seeing healthy happy lambs and their mums, the pride we felt watching them thrive, outweighed the sadness.
