Hi,
We are looking for a companion for our lovely, personable cat while we are away from 23 Dec to 6 Jan. We have a spacious, sunny house in a very quiet little street about 2 km from Titirangi village, with its cafes and art gallery. New Lynn town centre is 10 mins away by car.
We have a largish section with fruit trees and a vege garden, and a westerly view of the Waitakeres. We see the bush, but we are not in the bush.
Titirangi is the gateway to the Waitakere Ranges, a huge area of bush clad hills bordered by west coast surf beaches as well as calm harbour beaches. If you love the natural environment, you will love this area. There are walking tracks and harbour beaches close by, and great swimming at the black sand beaches a half hour's drive away.
Our cat Coco is a people cat and loves company. He is older but in good health. We feed him in small amounts as required.
Yet another lovely time spent at Joce's home with Coco who just wants company and cuddles. It was interesting for me to be sampling the different produce of the garden such as two varieties of plums, different shapes of tomatoes, and beans. All delicious! Thank you again Joce, Bernard, and Coco - see you again 🥰
Short and sweet is how I would describe my second time caring for Coco who is the sweetest cat who wants pats and company. Joce had an abundance of produce from her garden with clear care instructions, I was able to sample the vegetables and the tomatoes were plump and juicy!
Once again, thank you Joce for welcoming me to Coco's life and we already have another sit next month. See you!
Coco was great company during my stay at Joce's home, he would give plaintive meows to get pats and cuddle up with me at night. The house is peaceful, comfortable, and provided me with the perfect place to relax after work and the CD player was such a delight to use. Joce provided clear instructions which is appreciated, I had a wonderful time at Joce's and would be keen to look after Coco again, thank you and have a lovely Christmas!
Coco is a lovely, cuddly boy who stays around the house and enjoys having company. The house is quiet with a lovely bush outlook and is in a great location for walks in the Waitakere Ranges and the western beaches. Thanks for having us sit for Coco.
The house is amazing, surrounded by lots of green and birds, in a quiet yet not remote area in Titirangi near shops and near West Akl beaches. Coco the cat was the sweetest, super cuddly and a great companion. He pretty much does his own thing but also liked to hang out with me when in the house. There is an awesome veggie garden that needs watering but there is a smart system that makes it easy as. Plus, I was allowed to consume pickings, which was an addded bonus! Housesitting for a home surrounded by nature and a charming cat was an idyllic experience. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and feline companionship, creating a memorable housesitting opportunity for nature and animal lovers alike.
