Fairfield Lower Hutt

Looking for someone(s) who'd like to spend Xmas and NY in Wellington as we're off to visit family in Oz. Minnie is a rather large eight year old mystery mutt and a complete princess. She sleeps on a mattress next to us at night and wants to always be near her people. She's never met a person she doesn't want to be besties with. She's a little anxious around new dogs though. She's super obedient and too smart for her own good. She loves showing off the tricks she knows and getting belly rubs and treats for her work. Archie is an eight year old tabby and a total smooch (well at least for a cat)- he LOVES belly rubs. Most evenings he'll sleep at the foot of the bed and when you first stir in the morning come up and lie on your chest for a cuddle and chin scratch. The pair of them are like normal siblings occasionally smooching and occasionaly jealous (especially Minnie!). We live in a large 4-5 bedroom house with a lovely view of the Hutt, a charming stream and endless bird life at the end of the street, convenient access to the train (20 minutes to Wellington) and one of the best playgrounds around. We have a playroom with plenty of toys and books so no need to even travel with any if you're a parent. And a pool table, dart board and bar in our garage so essentially play rooms for all. We also have an office if you’re unfortunate to have to work over the Xmas break. We have two queen sized beds, a double, fold out double, single stretcher and and a queen size air mattress too so plenty of room for a crowd. We'd love to hear from you if that appeals.
