Hello Sitters! I live on a 5 acre lifestyle block, 48 km South of Auckland CBD, that is also home to one horse (Meg), two small inside dogs (Alfie and Lacey), a cat (Sylvie) who will all need looking after while I am away on holiday. The dogs aren't left home alone for great lengths of time so ideally I'm looking to find someone who can be around part of the day, most days.

Alfie is an elderly Sydney Silky and Lacey is a 2 year old Shih Tzu. They are very friendly, Lacey is a bit shy, but once she gets to know you she will be fine. Sylvie is very aloof and shy with all visitors. I expect she may choose to stay outside, so don't expect any cat snuggles. Meg, is a sweetheart and very easy to handle for anyone experienced with horses. She will mainly only need an eye kept on her and some hay tossed over the fence. For those not confident handling horses, I do have a neighbour who could help if any situation arose, or if you had any concerns about her. I don't currently have chickens, however, I probably will by June next year.

Bombay is a quiet rural village and our nearest town is Pukekohe which is a 15 minute drive away. Local attractions include waterfalls, bush walking/hiking, glow worm caves, beaches, a lighthouse with fabulous views, wineries and a local cheese maker.

My wifi is limited due to being rural, but should be fine for normal use, and cell phone coverage is excellent.
