Otaki Wellington

We live in the Waitohu area of Otaki. Otaki is less than an hours drive from two cities - Palmerston North and Wellington.

We have a large 4bdrm home, with 3 living areas a 2 bathrooms. Spa bath. Safe premises, house located back from a quiet cul-de-sac. Our home is equipped to entertain, with a pool table and darts in the garage. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, and two on the 2nd floor.

There is outdoor living for sunny days, a trampoline and plenty of toys and games for the kids. Fruit trees on the property- apricots, plums, apples, crabapples.

Beautiful views of Kāpiti Island and the Tararua Ranges. Less than 10 minutes drive to the river / swimming holes / beach and many bush walks and treks nearby.

5 min drive to nearest shops & supermarkets. Short 15 min walk to the nearest playground. Unlimited WiFi, Netflix, Disney, Prime etc.

We're mainly looking for someone who can care for our  4yo Rhodesian Ridgeback x and our cat while staying here. Our cat requires feeding twice a day and not much else, as she prefers to roam the neighbourhood outside of feeding times.

Our dog, Hera, has a gentle temperament. She does have prey drive and can try to bolt at cats or some small dogs while on walks - as she is on the bigger side, she requires a reasonably strong and confident handler. Hera needs feeding and walking twice a day, and loves attention.

We may ask you to water the small number of plants we have on our property if it gets hot and dry which it tends to do in Otaki where the weather is always slightly warmer than Wellington.
