Waipawa

We are looking for someone to come and look after our dogs whilst we are away in January. We have two Irish Terriers; Archie (6) and Stella (3). They are both lovely affectionate dogs who love nothing more than being around the humans in their life along with cuddles and a good scratch. They are well trained (although still energetic terriers) who love going to the beach for a swim (yes, even in winter) and chasing the ball and a wrestle. They can run of the lead if there are no other dogs around and generally come back to a good whistle. They are ok walking on the lead together as well. The dogs are contained at the house by an invisible electric fence system that works well. They are used to having someone home most of the time during the week, but they can be left for good stretches of time so you wouldn’t be tied to the house. They normally have a good sleep on our bed as soon as we leave!

We also have two young cattle in the bottom paddock. They may need feeding but this depends on the how the feed goes between now and then.

The house is a modern three bedroom house located about 9kms outside of Waipawa. You are a 25-35 minute drive to Havelock North, Hastings or the beach. We have a wood burner and a heatpump for keeping the house warm in winter. We also have a spa in the garden. The house sits at the top of the hill with expansive views out over the Tuki Tuki.

There will be minimal garden care involved; watering the indoor plants, watering and mowing outside depending on the weather.
