Aniseed Valley

Frances and Dave are very welcoming and thoughtful with easy communication on what was required. Their garden is a beautiful place to unwind in, while you watch Tui's and hear an array of birdsong. Pipi, their cat was delightful to get to know, as she warmed up more and more, snuggling in on the bed by the time we left. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this house to others.

We loved looking after Pipi and the chickens for a week in this beautiful house with tranquil gardens. Frances and Dave were generous, friendly and hospitable on the build up to the house sit and and when we arrived. The house is welcoming and they let us use the fireplace which was so toasty and cosy. The chickens were very friendly and were eager to come out everyday and get back into bed in the evening. We were allowed to eat their eggs too which was amazing! It was great to housesit for Frances. Pipi (the cat) and the hens were very friendly. A very tranquil and peaceful location. Also a very nice garden to wander around in, look out for the birds and appreciate the view. Greatly enjoyed exploring trails/tracks within the Aniseed Valley. A very comfortable home, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
