We are looking for someone responsible to look after our little schnoodle Freddie while we are away for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year holiday. He can be a little fearful of new people when he first meets them so we are looking for someone who is kind and patient. Once he gets to know you then you'll get all the cuddles!.
We live in a 1920s (but recently renovated) 4 bm home in Timaru - with views, garden and wifi. It's in a lovely area with local shops, cafes, supermarket about 10 min walk away.
Timaru is a seaside city and major port town located in South Canterbury, New Zealand. Built on the rolling hills created from the lava flows of the extinct Mt Horrible volcano, Timaru attractions include the South Canterbury Museum, the Timaru Botanic Gardens, and the popular Caroline Bay featuring a safe swimming beach, and the Caroline Bay Park which hosts the annual Caroline Bay Carnival. The port of Timaru is the most centrally located port in the South Island and a base for many tourism activities.

Again, we had a great time looking after Steve and Kate's lovely house and of course, Freddie the wonder dog. Their house is so comfortable and relaxing to live in, and nice and warm on those frosty mornings with the sun streaming in through those big windows. Freddie has matured since last time, but is just as much fun as ever, and just as affectionate as ever. Such a pleasure to look after. We had a great time.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Stephen and Kate for letting us look after their lovely house and their Fantastic Freddie while they traveled overseas. The bright superclean house made us feel totally relaxed as soon as we moved in. We were going to use the guest bedroom, but Stephen and Kate insisted we use the master bedroom because of its lovely view. They went the extra mile by emptying some of their wardrobes to give us more hanging space for our clothes. So kind and ... MORE
Wonderful, adorable little dog to LOVE. My collie Edy and Freddie got on really well. They had a great time playing together. Freddie was quite anxious around new people so I just let him do his own thing. Lovely family who made us feel totally welcome. House sunny and very comfortable in a great location. The walking tracks are at the end of the street. Thanks again for all the food and beverages. Very much appreciated. I look forward to housesit again in the future.
