Anyone keen to spend Christmas and New Year in Napier??
We are not sure exactly what day we head away but happy to discuss whether 24 or 26th December
We live on a large lifestyle block Approx 15 minutes from Napier CBD.
It is a lovely peaceful area and house has a deck and a wonderful view down the valley.
Beside our house is a cottage with a permanent boarder who may be in residence to support.
We have a team of very well behaved farm working dogs so experience with dogs a must as they will need a morning and afternoon walk please
Also a very spoilt and adored Burmese kitten who will demand your attention.
It's a lovely stay at Gill's. Good communication and clear instruction. Dogs are friendly and easy to look after. Nala is adorable, we have lots of cuddles with her. Beautiful place.
Gill was a delight to communicate with and welcomed us to her home which was soooo incredibly lovely. The animals were fun to care for, sweet dogs, especially sweet little Nala the cat, and watering the plants was restful in such tranquil surroundings.
Thanks Gill for accommodating all three of us (Uncle too). Such a great stay!!!
Gill and Guy have a lovely home in a beautiful farm near Napier, which makes it very convenient to see the surroundings. Communication was very easy from the beginning and we kept messaging along the house sit. The dogs were lovely and easy to take care of, and the bonus is Nala the queen of the house, we already miss her and her cuddles.
Our month-long farm sit was a delightful experience. We cared for Gill's beloved pets, Nala and Poppy, alongside Guy's hardworking dogs. A highlight was bottle-feeding three lambs twice daily, their wagging tails and bright eyes a constant source of joy.

Great sit at Gill’s! House is beautiful and Gill left us clear instructions and was a great communicator. Don’t be put off by 5 dogs, they are lovely dogs, really well behaved and very easy to look after. Gill made us feel at home, would highly recommend this sit
Gill was a great communicator and I felt confident in looking after her animals and home. Sadly a weather event interrupted Gill's plans, but we had an early heads up. Would definitely recommend.
Had a lovely long weekend at Gill and Guy's lifestyle block. All the animals were very well behaved and such a joy to spend time with! Gill left very clear instructions of what to do with the animals which was really handy. The house is set in a beautiful location - I loved watching the sun come up in the mornings while letting the dogs out! I would happily look after Nala and the dogs again!
Had a lovely ANZAC weekend and a bit extra at Gilll's house with a huge full moon to light up the beautiful rural view, and as quiet as the country can be!

company and brought me a couple of very tiny field mouse
gifts that I managed to "save" and
put back outside.
Daily messages were easy back and forth so I felt reasured Gill was up to date.
15 mins from Napier, so was able to swim at the pools nearly every day.

I had a wonderful Easter weekend at Gill's place with the adorable kitten, Nala and the 5 working dogs. I met Gill just before the sit and we went over everything and she left v clear and easy to follow instructions. Nala was easy and just wanted to be loved....which is easy to do! The working dogs were incredibly well behaved and knew the drill and obeyed commands instantly....v impressive. This was a truly amazing house sit! I got to take care of Mr Llama Llama, 4 farm dogs, and a cutie pattotie 8-month-old kitty! Gill, her husband, and their live-in neighbor Krissie were so incredible from the start! It was really great to get out with the dogs twice a day and be in the fresh air. Nala, the kitty was the most precious and cuddly ever. I cried leaving actually. Krissie was so kind and helpful throughout my entire stay! Gill and Guy are so lovely and made us feel right at home. Gill left clear instructions for all the animals with photos and guidance. We absolutely loved looking after the animals. The house is set in such a beautiful location we felt very lucky to be picked for this house sit. The dogs were friendly and fun, and we completely fell for little Nala the kitten who didn't leave our side the whole weekend,
