We need a house sitter

Wellington - Porirua

We are looking for a lovely house sitter to look after our 3 dogs (golden retrievers) and cat. Although our dogs are in their senior years they are healthy and fit (if a little deaf). They enjoy a daily walk but also love to laze in the garden or just sitting by your side waiting to give cuddles. We would prefer the house sitter to be able to work from home as the dogs are used to having someone at home. Our cat (a Siamese) likes to think of herself as one of the dogs and just loves a lap to sit. We have an easily maintained garden that requires little looking after.
We live on a quiet street in a small suburb within walking distance to a beach and 5 minute walk to the train station with a regular service to Wellington.

A large, very pleasant house to live in, with three friendly dogs and a very affectionate cat that gives a lot of love. Adorable and helpful neighbors ! ☺️ We had a wonderful stay, thank you very much ! ☺️

We had a fantastic time housesitting for Sue and John. They have a lovely house on a quiet street in a beautiful area, with lovely neighbours and gorgeous animals. All three dogs are very well behaved and loving, Holly the cat loves a snuggle in the evenings. There was great communication throughout the sit and they even brought us our favourite sweets back from the UK! We also had access to their hybrid car which was a great bonus. We highly recommend house sitting for Sue and John.

Thank you Sue for choosing me to housesit for you. I fell in love with the three golden retrievers very quickly and then the beautiful Siamese cat. They were all such fun I would find myself laughing out loud with them ! Sue left wonderful instructions which made caring for the animals and home really easy and she was always available on email for chats and to send photos to.
