Tuakau Waikato

Three week Christmas 2024 housesit! Unfortunately what we had arranged has fallen through...
We have a lovely renovated 1920's bungalow on a 4 acre lifestyle block. We are surrounded by dairy farming so, rural but close to the nearest village (walking distance), the nearest town (Tuakau) with shops and amenities is a ten minute car drive.
We are looking for someone who will come and keep our geriatric cat company. She is a free spirit - mostly doesn't like other people but will appreciate her food bowl being kept topped up each day and water changed.
We also have other animals that will need looking after:
3x chooks
2x highland cows
2x horses

If the horses are a deal breaker for potential house-sitters I can get a friend to look after them so don't be put off by them.

We will need watering of pots/greenhouse and veggie garden doing.
We can offer you a comfy home with a lovely rural aspect and most of the time pretty quiet (sometimes there's farm and vehicle traffic). We are 20 minutes drive from the local surf beach (Port Waikato).
There is room for campervan or caravan parking.
