Ngaio Wellington

I'm looking for someone to look after my two gorgeous black cats and water my garden while I am overseas for Christmas.

They are 8 years old and have no special requirements, other than feeding and lots of snuggles. Theo is extremely friendly and affectionate. Marley is a real homebody, preferring to spend her days inside on a chair asleep.

I have a reasonably large flower garden and it will likely need watering most days.

I would prefer a single female rather than a couple as the room available only has a small double bed. Ideally you would already be based in Wellington as I would like to meet you and show you the house prior to my departure, but we could do a Zoom call if need be.

The house is private, gets excellent sun and has outdoor seating areas and beautiful views over Ngaio. There are also walking tracks into the hills at the end of the street. Parking for one car is available outside the house.
There is also a piano if you like to play. This is a very quiet cul de sac, and while you'd be welcome to have a few friends over, it is not a party house.

Ngaio is a lovely area with cafes and takeaways close by, good bush walks and my house is down a private driveway. There is a train station 2 mins drive away and also a bus route.

I've put the start date as 20 December, but there could be some flexibility around this if you wanted to start after December 15. I would definitely need someone from December 20. End date is January 2 but if you needed to finish a day or two earlier, that would be ok as well.
