We need a house sitter

Canterbury - Mackenzie

Marianne

We are looking for someone to look after our 3 dogs, 2 cats, 12 chickens so collecting eggs and feeding the chickens and to keep an eye on the farm animals, incl are 3 Clydesdale cross horses, they require little care other than some hay and occasionally be rugged when it’s raining and temp below 5 degrees. In dry weather they are absolutely fine at any temp. We also have 2 alpacas and a hand full of cows,
Horse experience/confidence is a requirement for our sit

You will be staying in our lovely Airbnb cottage plus hot tub ❤️. We are 8 minutes away from Fairlie and 40 min from Lake Tekapo

We had the best time staying at Marianne and Pascal's cottage and caring for their animals. The farm and surrounding area are incredibly beautiful, making it one of our favourite housesits to date. It was a short stay, but we enjoyed feeding the five adorable lambs, the chickens, horses, and cats. We were so lucky with nice, sunny weather ... and the cottage is very cute and comfortable. Marianne and Pascal are friendly and welcoming - and have created a truly inspiring lifestyle for themselves.

Marianne & Pascal went for 10 weeks to Europe, trusting me with their animals and farm stay. There were kind enough to let me have numerous friends visiting. Marianne's sons were often around. Hugo & Rupert are your shadow cats, horses are well behaved, El is even very nice to ride for a young one, and the cattle is easy to handle as long as there is electric fence. Bobo the puppy is full of energy and eager to learn, and Kara the 11 yo is still always down for a run but has to be watched with ... MORE

We had such a lovely stay at Marianne and Pascal's place. There are very friendly and welcoming persons. We really liked taking care of their pets (all of them are so well behaved) and we also learned how to bottle feed their cute babies lambs Popadiche, Stewie, Dobby, Marie-Belle and Sophia. The surroundings are amazing as well, very quiet and peaceful. We wish you a lot of success in your future projects :)
