We are looking for someone who is house proud and trustworthy and who is capable of looking after our 11 year old blue heeler while we are away for 2 weeks She's getting old now so is happy at home lazing around in the sun. No walking or exercising needed. Prefer someone that is retired or working part time so "Islay" isn't alone for too long during the day. We are situated in the Waitakere Ranges on 2.5 acres of mainly bush - 10min drive from Swanson township and 15 mins from Bethells Beach.
I had a fantastic experience house sitting for Karen and Andy. Islay the dog and the lizard were both super easy to look after. The property is lovely with the welcome addition of a spa! Not too far away from Bethell's Beach which was lovely to head to for walks. Great communication and would be happy to sit again in the future :-)
Karen and Andy's house is lovely and comfortable nestled in amongst some beautiful bush, we had such a great time here.
The goldfish fended for themselves and were a bit standoffish (lol) but Islay (the forever puppy) was amazing and awesome and just so much fun to be around.
Would more than happily return for another house sit if ever required.
