Kia ora! I am looking for a reliable, respectful and experienced house sitter with excellent current references to look after my lovely home, and friendly cats, Hank and Tim.
Situated in Paroa with a lovely rural aspect, you have the best of town and country with the quiet of the country and town only a 5 minute drive away. The beach is a 5 minute walk, and you can see al the way down the Coast to Aoraki Mt Cook. You can be in Hokitika in 20 minutes, Punakaiki in 40 minutes, the glaciers in two hours. The best of the West Coast is right on your doorstep!
The home is new, warm and comfortably furnished. Duties include the care of the cats (daily feeding and sunggles), mowing lawns weekly (there's a handy battery powered lawn mower), watering the indoor plants. If you are a keen gardener, you're welcome to do some weeding, dead heading of the roses, putting snail bait around, etc. Opening the curtains/blinds daily and airing the house is a must. The house will be left in immaculate condition, and it is expected that it will be found that way upon return.
My cats have not been socialised with children so this job is better suited to a single person or couple.

I thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for Renee. Her cats are very easy care and very good company. They are playful and affectionate. The house is comfortable, warm and provides all conveniences. Renee is friendly and very welcoming . Communication was very good. I would happily sit for her again. Highly recommended.
It was my first trip to west coast and I couldn't wish for a better sit. Renee is a super nice and cool owner of a beautiful new house which provided me with a base for my trips around the area. Also the pets were a delight to look after and spend some cuddle time on a sofa with a movie. Great communication, will be back for visit! Thanks Renee for all!
