We need a house sitter

Waikato - Matamata-Piako

Samantha

We live 9km out of Matamata on a small lifestyle block with five small paddocks. We have a small three bedroom house with one bathroom.

We have a great view of the kaimai range and are right on the cycle track connecting Matamata to Te Aroha, Paeroa and Waihi.

We would require our house sitter to move our sheep every three days into another paddock and feed them silage daily by just throwing it over the fence.

We have one rabbit called snowy which would need his cage pulled around the lawn, a carrot fed to him daily and grass picked and fed.

We have two cats one who is six named Ollie he is quite scared of strangers so he takes a day or two to get used to you then he is very cuddly, and a one year old named Louie. Both cats get fed twice a day and are locked up in the house each night as we live on a busy road and dont want them to get run over. The cats are our babies and this is mainly why we would love a house sitter.

We have sky, netflix, prime and neon and wifi. We have a spa pool and a large intex put up pool we would require the house sitter to just add a bit of chlorine to the pool.

No garden or maintenence is required we can do that when we get home.

Matamata has Hobbiton, hot pools the cycle track, wairere falls track and is very central to the bigger cities such as Hamilton, Tauranga The Mount and Rotorua.

If you think this sounds like you please get in contact with us we would love to hear from you especially if you love animals.

We had a wonderful time house sitting in Mata Mata. Looking after the animals was no problem. Ollie was a little shy at first but became very cuddly as he got to know us better. As Mata Mata is only an hour away from Roturua or Tauranga we had plenty to do. Sam and Alan are great people. We were always able to send a text message and receive a reply shortly afterwards. All in all we had a great time and would definitely house sit again.
