Haumoana Hawke's Bay

We really enjoyed looking after Bryn and Jett who were quiet and great company. The chooks were easy to manage and the cats warmed to us in next to no time. Magnificent house with a view of the sea from the large deck. Thanks David and Kate for the welcome and the memorable experience.

This was a great house sit! David & Kate were lovely and left us clear instructions on how to care for their pets and the garden. Bryn and Jet were extremely well-behaved, we loved taking them for walks. They were very social and friendly with other dogs and responsive to us immediately. The cats were also friendly and loved getting cuddles, and the chickens were a breeze care for. The area is lovely and we feel very lucky to have been able to stay there! Thanks again Kate & David

This was a great housesit. I loved walking the dogs the most, because they were perfectly socialised, well behaved and keen, making exploration of the well used wetland tracks enjoyable.The cats basically looked after themselves, only seeking attention towards the end of the 10 day sit. There were 3-4 eggs a day and a garden watering system that was mainly automated. While a routine is required, all existing systems are set up to work. There's the added luxury of a no-maintenance spa pool on the deck. A comfy bed and a twinkling Christmas tree set me up for a holiday where I felt welcome and appreciated. A highly reccomended sit.
