We need a house sitter

West Coast - Grey

Our 3 yr old house is set in the country just 6km from Greymouth.
Skid our cat and Hudson our little poodle cross live here. Hudson sleeps most of the day but enjoys evening play or a walk.
There are house plants that need watering also.
You are welcome to use our guest room and use the house amenities.
We have gas hot water and a wood fire with plenty of wood to keep you warm. We have wi-fi.
Sunsets here are amazing and it is so peaceful. We are a 5 minute drive to the beach and cycle trail.

We had the pleasure of house-sitting for Mike and Sue, and it was a wonderful experience filled with many cherished memories. Their home is amazing—quiet, well-equipped, and warm, with beautiful views. Hudson is a sweet and delightful companion. He loves walks, Weka (🤣), cuddles, and car rides. Lovely sit for Sue & Mike just out of Greymouth in their new house with all mod cons. Hudson the dog is absolutely delightful and got on very well with my dog. Skid the kitten was the cuddliest cat I've had in a long time and really knew how to stand up to the dogs. Enjoyed the roaring fire and the lovely country views and would gladly come again

We had a great time housesitting for Sue and Mike. The communication was clear and smooth. They made us feel so welcome and even let us have some homegrown produce from the tunnelhouse. Hudson (the dog) spoilt us with his company and cuteness. He is very social, chill and overall a very well behaved dog. He loves to run and never seems to get tired while on a walk/run, at home on the other hand, he is relaxed and chill. Outside he has to be on a leash at all times, but is very easy to manage. ...
