Pukenui Far North

Tidy but basic bach. 1 bedroom. Comfortable sleepout with attached bathroom. Large partially covered deck. Very good wheelchair access including main bathroom. Good wifi and landline. Reasonable cell coverage. Grid tied solar and roof collected water with pump. Within minutes of both east and Westcoast beaches....fishing, boating, kayaks, walks. Good neighbours and capable local back up for contingencies.

Two independent cats to feed...they have a cat door and do as they please. Only real care required is ensuring they are not in or under a vehicle before moving off. 3 pet sheep, well fenced and will respond well to feed nuts . Maybe 6 freezer sheep in another paddock...not pets, but will be 'nut trained' for ease of handling when their time comes. Perhaps some easy electric fence moving. About a dozen chooks and rooster. Food daily, and scraps if available. Water most important. Collect eggs! Well fenced...but
will occasionally escape, but are easy to manage with food. My dog will travel with me....but please...if you want to bring your own dog be mindful that all my animals do not see dogs as a threat. Any chance you dog will chase or attack....this is not the place for you.

I like to grow veggies....but I'm not obsessive about weeds and watering. If you're keen...go for it! If not, I'll catch up upon my return. There's usually
tomatoes etc to forage all year round. Banana trees, but other fruit trees are still establishing.

This is a great base for exploring the Far Far North. Local small supermarket and medical center is literally next door. Nightlife is...minimal. Great community Facebook page...I'm amazed how quickly folk respond.

Yes, I need my animals cared for...but I want sitters to have most of their time free to do stuff, or just blob out!
