Hello. Firstly, you gotta love dogs to come to our place!! We have 4 very social friendly inside dogs (x3 foxy cross, x 1 dachshund, plus 2 farm dogs) that do not come inside lol!! There are also x 4 Nubian goats which dont really need anything done with them but they love a pat and some nuts from time to time . We own a beautiful station just 15 minutes from Manapouri, backing onto the Takitimu Mountains. Bruce, Maddy, Tui and Sausage Dog don't mind being left alone for a few hours during the day but you need to be back at a reasonable hour in the afternoon. The horses might need a small hard feed and some hay each day. We will have a foal here by then to. They are all lovely safe horses and will be set up so it’s as easy as possible for you. Our home is a lovely warm 1960 homestead with open fire, log burner and diesel heating that comes on twice a day in the winter. Beautiful double kitchen to. Awesome part of the country. So much to do in this area, gateway to Fiordland, Milford Sound etc So, if this sounds like it would suit you then please get in touch.

If you could come the day before so I can show you around that would be perfect. Accommodation in Manapouri or surrounding area should be easy to find at that time of year. You don't need to wait for us on the last day. The dogs will be fine without us for a few hours.

Leanne and Russel have a beautiful home and the most gorgeous dogs and horses. I was welcomed with a delicious meal and received great instruction for the care of the animals. Sausage, Maddy, Tui, Bruce, Benny and Jugs were fantastic company for some lovely walks about the farm and the horses quiet, polite and easy to be fed and checked over. The lambs made me smile every morning as they waited at the gate ready for their breakfast too! Absolutely loved my stay here and would happily return ☺️

Leanne and Russell have a gorgeous house and beautiful land! The easiest way to sum up our sit; we cried as we drove down the driveway when we left! We became so attached to all the characters of the animals during our sit with cuddles and playtime with the 6 dogs, working with the 4 horses, keeping the 4 goats entertained and being really happy when you heard Twiggy the deer appear from his day with the cows too! Leanne and her husband are very kind and gave us all the facilites. We spend some beautifull days y their house! The dogs are lovely and they have a little deer dog haha! It's the best! I really recomend to do house sitting with them!! Great experience!

We had the best time house sitting for Leanne! Her dogs Bruce, Tui, Maddy and Sausage are the absolute sweetest and so easy to care for, we cuddled with them all day. We also loved visiting the goats and horses every morning. Leanne was communicative and her instructions were clear, and her home also so beautiful and clean. Absolutely loved being at Leanne and Russell's beautiful home for a week. The dogs are wonderful company and a pleasure to care for. Horses, goats and chickens all easy and friendly. Location is superb with amazing views. We'd return in a heart beat and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future. Thank you for trusting us with your home and extended family!

We're thankful for the awesome opportunity to sit for Leanne & Russell as was a treat! Tui, Maddie & Bruce are a great doggie trio, the goats were super friendly & the chooks were easy to watch over. Their home was easy to keep clean and tidy. We'd recommend this sit as they are a great couple to have a yarn with.

Leanne and Russell's immaculate home and surrounds and breath-taking outlook brought us a lot of joy. It was a pleasure to help out. Plus, the handover period involved being spoiled rotten and enjoying wholesome cooking and great company. Leanne is a great communicator, making everything so much easier. We had such an amazing time house sitting for Leanne and Russell! They were welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful and easy to reach. Their farmstead is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. We stayed at Leanne and Russell's farm house for one week in February. We absolutely loved it! It was our first time 'living' on a farm and it was such a great experience. We loved getting up in the morning feeding the animals and having 6 dogs to play with. Thank you so much for opening your house and farm to us. Not only you but also the employees were extremely kind to us.

Wonderful ranch house within reach of Te Anau and Milford Sound! We loved getting to do morning farm chores, feeding animals, taking care of the vegetable garden, and collecting fresh eggs. The drive to Te Anau is about 30 minutes, so you're out far enough to be secluded and quiet, by close enough to go into town for dinner. Loved the experience at Tower Peak!

They have been really friendly and kind with us, so they have our recommendation. We enjoyed our stay on Tower Peak stn and we are really thankful that you trusted us.
