Three bedroom 15 year old home. Two story. Heat pump in both living areas. All living areas downstairs. Flooring planks downstairs and carpet upstairs. Three toilets and main bathroom has walk-in shower and separate bath. Living area has ranch slider out to large deck situated for full sun. All modern appliances. In very quiet secluded street. Very private. Duties to look after four cats. They must be inside overnight. Keep house clean and tidy. Put out rubbish. Otherwise enjoy the gateway to many places such as the beautiful Waitarere beach, Otaki beach and township, Foxton and Beach settlement Palmerston North and Kapiti Coast.
We had a comfortable stay in Joan's home.
The four cats had very different characters and Joan left clear instructions for there care. Evie, one of the younger cats was the one most keen on human interaction.
I had a lovely time at Joan's place with her four delightful cats. A beautiful home and lovely owner! Thanks Joan! :)
Joan's house and garden were both comfortable and low maintenance. Communication was good. Joan was very easygoing overall, and a pleasure to deal with. There were two adult cats that required medications, but otherwise did their own thing, and two kittens that were a bit more demanding, but a real treat to look after. I enjoyed the experience and would be happy to sit for Joan again.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
