Hi there,

We are looking for somebody/ies to house sit our beautiful property and all the animals that we have.
We have a 15 acre property set in woodland and native trees with a babbling stream flowing through our property. Some of the property is hillside grazing, so there is really a bit of everything.
We have 2 x three year old dogs. Java who is a mixture of border collie and Huskie and Indy who is a border collie. They are outside dogs who sleep in their kennels. We are training them up to be working dogs, but they are also our loved pets.
We have an inside fluffy black cat, Ninja. She is around 7 years old.
In the orchard we have 15 chickens and plenty of chicks.
We have 10 East Friesian milking sheep. plus 5 lambs. One is an orphan lamb who still has a couple of bottles a day. It's milking season so I'm milking the sheep. You have the option to milk or just leave the lambs with the mum's and I can get back to milking when I get home..
On the hillside we have one Belted Galloway steer and one Jersey girl calf.She has been bottle fed also, we're weaning her so it may be a case of giving her a bottle every other day.
We need someone to look after the dogs. Feeding and exercise and cuddles. Also making sure they don't get into mischief. The cat needs feeding.
We also need the vege gardens watered and any plants. The sheep and cows are very low maintenance, but keeping an eye on them to make sure they are alright. So just making sure they are all where they're supposed to be. We have a grandpa feeder for the chickens, but again making sure they haven't smashed through all the grain and taking scraps to them too. Plus the chicks and mum's are in separate enclosures and need feeding special chick food and making sure they have water. You can collect eggs fresh each day.
We have 22 ducks and 6 turkeys plus turkey chicks, that live in our orchard. They mostly free range but we do take a container of barley out to them each day.
We have WiFi at the house.

Wow what an amazing experience!! We truly loved our time at Lisa’s farm. All the animals were absolutely amazing and sweet. Her dogs are extremely well behaved, and her kitty was very sweet and cuddly! We enjoyed bottle feeding her precious calf and lamb and feeding all the different birds. Trees with citrus and delicious salad gardens and fresh eggs were a lovely bonus. We loved our stay on the Tree House! Indi and Java are the most lovely dogs, they behave so well, and they are so cute! We already miss them! The house is very cosy, the morning walks with the dogs were settled in a beautiful landscape! Ninja loves cuddling and is very sweet! We had a great time! Thank you guys for accepting us and being so welcoming to us!

What a magical space to be a part of. Peaceful and quiet location set in the Bush. Had a wonderful time looking after all the animals and the walks we had with the dogs. The dark skies were amazing. A special placs to spend time in.

Lisa, Regs and their children Nico and Sahara made us very welcome at their unique and wonderful small farm in the beautiful countryside of Upper Moutere. A very aware and awake family who are working towards self sufficiency The property is amazing with spectacular views, the night sky here is awesome.
