Ngahinapouri Village Waikato

We need someone to look after our much loved, 12 year old dog Harry and 14 yr old cat Katy, while we are away in Europe. We also have 2 goldfish in a pond who require only minimal attention.
We have a comfortable rural home with all mod cons which is a 15 minute drive from both Hamilton and Te Awamutu.
Harry is used to having someone around for most of the time so would be much happier with someone who won't leave him home alone for hours at a time. He enjoys ( and expects) a good morning walk and will then be happy to potter around with you. He also enjoys outings in the car.
Katy is happy with the occasional cuddle and provision of regular meals. Both are fit and healthy with no medical issues.
Our house is easy care with all modern appliances. We have a cosy log fire and plenty of firewood as well as 2 heat pumps. It has double glazing so is warm and quiet.
Our garden, while large, should not need any attention over this period of time unless you are a keen gardener and want to potter. The lawns will probably need to be mown once or twice,
Our main concern is that our pets receive the care and attention they are used to.
We do, if at all possible, like to meet with potential sitters in our home so both they and we can be sure we are a good fit for each other.
