Te Horo Beach

We live on a 10acre beachfront lifestyle block in a quiet rural street in Te Horo with our 2 energetic and fun Huntaway dogs.
They are friendly and enthusiastic dogs, well behaved (generally) and guaranteed to make you laugh.
Ideally, we would like someone who can be 100% WFH / remote as these guys are used to one / both of us being home every day.
Depending on the location, both dogs are accustomed to off leash walks so require someone good with firm commands and being able to keep an eye on 2 dogs at once. They are also used to walking on the leash and do this well.
Our dogs are accustomed to 3 walks per day. 45-60mins AM, 30mins middayish, 45-60mins evening.
They love mental stimulation and learning anything new. Hide and seek on the section is a favourite (loud and very high octane so not for the faint hearted).
You will be their friend for life if you take them out in your car as they love car rides.
Prefer no visits to dog parks. Whilst our dogs are friendly, one has had hip surgery and is not a fan of fast-moving dogs and/or being approached by lots of dogs. Our other dog will often become her bodyguard in these situations...leading to signals best avoided at a confined dog park!
Our dogs are also free reign - so are not tied up / house bound or kennel bound throughout the day. They know not to go off the section - this requires someone who is comfortable with free reign dogs and keeping an eye on them now and again. 9 times out of 10 they will be asleep at your feet anyway!
Whilst they are free reign they love their routine and structure and will definitely let you know when it's time for meals or walks. And also if they are bored!
We would love the opportunity for a pre house/pet-sit visit and walk with our dogs to ensure it's a comfortable match for everyone.
Despite living with these 2 hooligan Huntaways, we are fastidiously house proud and clean. Being 1st time homeowners, we want to keep our home clean and tidy. Anyone pet sitting here can expect to stay in a clutter free, pristine and happy home.
