Maori Hill Dunedin

We’re in need of a sitter for just over 3 weeks in January for our dog Beau, a neutered 3 & 1/2 year old border collie/huntaway/springer spaniel cross. Beau is very friendly and affectionate and loves a good walk or visit to the local dog park, but is also happy at home on our fully-fenced section. He’s good with other dogs and children. If you feel like mowing the small lawn or doing a little gardening, that’d be lovely, but it’s not required.

We have a comfortable, modern home in the inner-Dunedin hill suburb of Maori Hill. Our property backs on to the leafy Otago Golf Club, on the other side of which you’ll find the lovely Ross Creek bush tracks, reservoir and beyond. It’s a five minute walk to an excellent restaurant, a cafe, dairy, fish & chip shop and Indian takeaway, and walk a further five minutes and you’ll reach a great bakery. Fresh Choice supermarket and further shops are also nearby and there’s a bus stop two doors away with buses to the city centre. There are mountain bike trails nearby and beaches and the Otago Peninsula are a short drive or bus ride away.
