Waimauku

We are looking for someone to take care of our house, dog, chickens and ducks. Fig is a bearded collie huntaway cross, energetic and extremely affectionate. She is a medium-large sized dog so you need to be comfortable with that, although she is generally well behaved.

She can be left alone however she does need to be exercised daily. This can be standing at the top of the paddock and throwing a ball or taking her for a walk at Muriwai.

There are also seven chickens which require some minimal care (eg topping up their food and water). In exchange they will reward you about six eggs a day - help yourself!

There are a couple of veg gardens which will need water every few days if it doesn’t rain.

The house is quite old but comfortable. It is on a large block of land, about five minutes drive from Muriwai beach.

There is wi-fi, a smart tv, and a coffee machine which makes very good coffees.
