Our house is close to Howick. beach, perfect for walking our lovely fox terrier. Our foxie has a lovely quiet nature (except maybe when she first sees you - she can jump up). She loves tummy rubs and does not bark or act aggressively. She is happy to be left at home if you go out but would like a walk each day.
Howick beach is a few minute's walk away and it is a quiet area with nearby parks. It is also a short walk to Howick village with cafes, restaurants, supermarket and shops. Both Howick beach and Cockle bay have a safe swimming beach and we also have a pool and spa at home to enjoy. The marina with ferry to the city is 15 minutes drive. A ferry to Waiheke Island also leaves from the marina.
We had a wonderful experience. Flame is very cute and extremely well-behaved. The house is wonderful and interacting with Sarah was great. We very much enjoyed the walks on the beach and would love to look after Flame again!
Little Foxy is the most delightful dog and excellent company. We explored many of the lovely walks nearby. Sarah's home is very comfortable and in an attractive neighbourhood with a beach at the end of the road. Do not hesitate to offer to sit for Sarah, you will find her a very good host.
Flame was a pleasure to look after. She is gorgeous, easy going, well behaved and affectionate. And she loves her tummy rubs'. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our walks along the beach. The home is comfortable with a spacious, modern kitchen and great indoor outdoor flow. Safe and quiet; it felt like a holiday. Contact was excellent.

It was a delight to look after Flame for a few days at Sarah's spacious and comfortable home. We enjoyed walking and playing with Flame who was quite a character. Sarah was really easy to communicate with and helpful with instructions. Would happily sit again!
I had a fantastic time looking after easy going Flame. The house was very comfortable and had beautiful landscaping. I would definitely recommend sitting here if you get the chance.
This was just a lovely house sit. Flame is a perfect dog, and so easy to look after... tummy rubs a plenty and a walk down the beach and she was happy as you like. Communication with Sam and Sarah was easy and straightforward and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this sit to anyone.
House sitting is a fun, immersive way to experience this magnificent country - without paying a cent for accommodation!
