Karaka Road, Hurunui North Canterbury

Ann & Matthew were great house sit owners! They spend a day showing me what was required while sitting the 50 acre farm, feeding out hay, feeding chooks, ducks, cat & dog. Accommodation was more than comfortable and their house and garden a delight. Their communication while away was great and I had the best time staying in the countryside in the peace and quiet.

Ann and Matthew live in paradise on a lifestyle block with delightful animals and beautiful gardens and grounds. We simply loved every minute of our house and pet sit here. Looking after the farm animals was very easy, the pets were so sweet and the fresh produce was bountiful. We thoroughly enjoyed being farmers for the time we were privileged to stay here. Thank you to Ann and Matthew for this wonderful opportunity. Hope we can help out again!

Neighbours popped around to introduce themselves. The district not only has spectacular scenery but so much to offer in terms of activities. An amazing house in a great location. Highlights are the organic garden and the ready supply of organic eggs. Scruffy is a lot of fun and a real character and the goats are amazing. Matt and Ann are great to deal with and are appreciative of the care you take of their property and animals.
