We need a house sitter

Northland - Far North

Anna

You don't like cold winters? Escape the cold and come to the winterless North. We are looking for a couple to look after our lodge. The property is normally run as a guest house and is very popular and highly rated. We are closing during winter and are looking for someone to look after our border collie and the lodge. It’s a beautiful building with sunny rooms and views to the beach. The lodge is a historic building which has been lovingly renovated. It’s a stunning location, right on the beach in the warmest part of the country. You can walk for miles along the beach. Ahipara is also know for its surf.
The dates are not set yet and we are a bit flexible. We might also consider 2 seperate housesits if you are looking for a shorter period.

We thoroughly enjoyed our winter house sit with Marly - a smart, special and fun non-human; in Ahipara - a beautiful, sunny location. Anna and Blaine were excellent to liaise with. Instructions were clear, and communication was prompt. Knowing we could contact nearby friends of theirs with any issues was reassuring. The house was comfortable, warm and welcoming. Thanks Anna, Blaine and Marly for this amazing housesit at the Endless Summer Lodge! The time we spent here was wonderful, and we fell in love with the area and with Marly (the border collie). She is an amazing dog and she stole our hearts (we miss her a lot). The lodge is next to the beach, and the views are stunning. We were so lucky to be able to look after the Endless Summer Lodge for Anna and Blaine while they went on holiday. We spent 6 weeks here looking after Marly the Border Collie. Marly is so much fun to hang out with and we totally fell in love with her. She loves playing ball at the beautiful beach across the road and going for extended walks. Lovely house and a beautiful area right next to the beach - we really enjoyed our house sit here. The two dogs Marly and Jamie are a joy to look after and the house itself is amazing! We had a thorough introduction from Anna and Blaine when we arrived. They are both lovely and it was easy to communicate with them while they were away. We met lots of great people and had an all round fantastic experience. Highly recomment this house sit - we would have stayed longer if we could!
