Our place is a stand alone 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom character villa near shops and takeaway options and St Albans park. We have a cat called Felix (1 year old) who is very cuddly and playful once he warms up who you'd be looking after. He's litter trained and lives inside at night but can go outside during the day.
We have some indoor plants that might need the occasional water but are pretty low maintenance. We also have a vege garden and would appreciate if you could turn the sprinkler on in the evenings so it gets a decent water while we're away.
Felix is a friendly little cat who likes company & was easy to care for. Top cat.
Harriet & Matt were welcoming to their home & provided a nice room, ensuite, and clean, safe, comfortable surroundings. Parking onsite too. It rained everyday so not much watering or gardening possible. Private garden & deck for warm days.
Great communications too.
This was our first house sit and it was so much better than expected!! Harriet is wonderful and explained everything we needed to know. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed cooking in „our own“ kitchen after staying in Hostels the whole time. Felix is so nice and really affectionate :))
We spent a really relaxing weekend in this beautiful house with Felix. Communication with Harriet was clear and easy from start to finish. Harriet also gave us tips for restaurants nearby. Felix, the cat, is an absolute joy—friendly, well-behaved, and a pleasure to take care of. He’s low-maintenance and easy to care for, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this host family and would be happy to return anytime!
We had the opportunity to take care of Félix the kitten just 2 days but boy how much we loved It there with him! Despite his young age, his sweet and loving character clearly shows, which made our stay very pleasant. It was very enjoyable also playing with him for a long while since he is very playful and fun.

I really enjoyed my stay in the beautiful house with comfortable rooms. Felix is such a lovely kitten. He was lovely and cheeky. We had fun playing together and snuggled up on the sofa. Harriet told me anything I needed to know and prepared written information for me. She was very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here. You have the best company. Thanks Harriet for trusting me.
The young kitty was fun to be with, very cuddly, and sweet as well, The owners were very nice and easy to communicate, welcoming. Enjoyed my time with Felix and would do it again!
