Hi there... we live in Te Anau with our 15 yo cat - Storm. The home is minutes from Te Anau and has access to bike trails along the lake. Easy drive to Milford Sound, close to the Kepler and Routeburn Tracks It's a new home with all the creature comforts (heat pump, fibre internet, washery/dryer). Has views of the mountain ranges and is in a quiet neighborhood. We have kayaks and bikes that the sitter can use. Storm is easy as... she is a fuzzy little bear that likes to lounge in the sun and stroll in the fenced-in yard watching birds and bugs. She has an outdoor and indoor litter.

I was unable to start looking after Storm for Brian and Angie as I was taken ill on my way there. So much so that I called an ambulance. I was able to contact Brian who was so gracious and understanding about my inability to fulfil my obligations. I truly hope to meet Storm one day!
Thank you Brian and Angie for your recent housesit. I feel like I have made two new friends. Storm, your cat, and I got on just fine. Sitting down beside her and talking to her gently elicited an immediate loud purring and I knew we had a great connection even though she is not a cuddly type of cat. The house is spacious, warm and fully furnished in a good location. Storm is very easy to be taken care of. I enjoy my stay and will be happy to come back. Thank you so much!
Storm is the lady of the house and oozes personality and sparkle. She took a while to warm up to me but her purr is instantaneous. She is really chill and loves treaties and snoozing in front of her fireplace.
I really enjoyed my time at Angie and Brian's. The house is comfy and warm and in a great location with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and lake. I was lucky enough to wake up to snow on the mountains which was a real treat for me.

Storm is such a great cat to spend time with, very laid back, and with the best purr, which starts almost as soon as you start patting her :-) Brian and Angie's place is really lovely, with a fantastic location right beside the sea - perfect for sitting out on the deck watching the sunset. They both made everything really easy from the start. Would love to sit for Storm again!
The setting has the ambience of a 1901 near original cottage with modern. bathroom and the nightime lull of the ocean across the road. Activities include swimming, cycling, fishing. Storm the cat is an interesting character who presents as reserved but when she gets to know you she invites a belly stroke. Angie and Bryan left good instructions, were easy to contact and generously entrusted Storm and their home to us. It was like being on holiday at home. Thank you 😊

Another blissful holiday spent with chilled out, purring and ping pong ball chasing Storm. Lovely and cozy. I got in lots of runs, sighting 4 kingfishers on just one run alone :-)

A cottage in Karaka Bay and the weather was perfect. ☀️Storm is a gracious old lady easy to look after and loves being in your company. Brian and Angie stayed in contact throughout. Would definitely recommend this pet sit.
This is the second time that I have house & cat sat for Brian, Angie & Storm. Storm is super easy to look after with own car flap and meals twice a day. Storm is a chilled out, sun loving cat with the thickest and softest fur of any cat, with instant purring on your arrival and is the only cat I know who "hockey pucks" treats! Brian, Angie and cat Storm are great communicators in a lovely beach front home. Storm purred as soon as I arrived and is a great lover of strokes. Storm is super easy to care for and happy for strokes or to be left to sleep or to watch the view out the front or back doors of the property. Has own cat flap too. It was such a pleasure to housesit for Brian and Angie. They are so friendly and relaxed, and the communication was really smooth. Storm (their lovely cat) is a sweetheart and really easy to care for. The location is stunning, the house is cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated.

It was great to sit for Brian, Angie & cat Storm! Such a lovely bach and such a happy Storm for my 8 week sit. Such a pleasure to look after Storm and her home while owners were overseas. What an enjoyable house sit - such a treat. Storm (the cat) was amazing to look after and the small garden had some nice surprises in form of strawberries and raspberries - so yum.
But the best - of course - was the wonderful deck and the view and the few steps to the beach and the cosy home ... etc etc etc
We truly enjoyed this house sit and hope to be back one day.
