Seeking a house sitter from Fri 31 Jan to Sun 2 Feb or our 6 year old Westie-Poodle cross Sophie, in a comfortable well-maintained 3 bedroom house in Heretuanga, Upper Hutt. Sophie is an adorable and friendly doggie, who loves to go for walks and get tummy rubs. She is usually walked once per day for around 20-30 mins (but loves longer), and is fed once a day in evening (with dog nuts available during the day) and likes snuggling up with humans on the couch and bed in the evenings. She is okay with other small dogs once she gets to know them, and otherwise very friendly (and comes when called), so if you would like to bring your small dog that is okay. The house is 5 mins walk from the Hutt river trail & Silverstream train station, a 10 min drive to Upper Hutt and 20-30 min drive to Wellington city). We will be away from approx 3pm on Fri 31 Jan and return around 4 pm on Sun 2 Feb.
Sara's place was amazing! Sophie was wonderful to care for, very sweet and gentle with my pup who I brought with me. The house is beautiful and cozy, and Sara's communication was fantastic. I wish you the very best! Thank you for the experience and allowing me to explore the Wellington area!
Sara was a pleasure to communicate with and made the house sit very easy. Sophie is one of the most easiest playful affectionate dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of looking after and I will miss our walks and snuggles. The home and neighbourhood is beautiful and so nice to be right next to the park and river.
We had a lovely weekend house sit at Sara's with Sophie the Westie-poo. Comms were great throughout, we were very comfortable and Sophie is an absolute delight to care for. One of those sits you'd happily say yes to again. Thanks for having our little family, Sara!
Tidy house with all conveniences, quiet neighbourhood, short walk to railway station and shops (including supermarket).
Sara was very kind and communicative, and Sophie is an absolute delight! She is a very sweet and relaxed dog who loves walks and cuddling on the couch. The house is very neat and cozy, and perfectly situated by a park, great for dog walks. There are several other dog-friendly parks a short drive away as well, so you won't run out of places to explore with Sophie if you want to be outside. I would return in a heartbeat if I were in the area again. I highly recommend this house sit!
We had the incredible experience of taking care of Sophie for a weekend and it was a completely tender and fun experience. Sophie has a lot of love to give and at the same time you feel like giving her a lot of love. She is very calm but she also loves to play. The house is extremely nice, cozy and makes you want to spend more time there. Sara has been incredible with us, although we did not have the opportunity to meet her in person. The best for you always! 10/10 :)
Sophie is a very adorable, friendly and calm doggie. She behaves very well at home and when going out for walks. It is independent and does not require much effort to care for it. We loved spending time with her!
Sara was friendly, communication was very fluid and she gave us clear instructions on caring for Sophie and her home. The house has everything you need for a good stay, we would only suggest improving the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Sophie was an absolute delight! Such a sweet and cuddly dog. It was a low maintenance sit in a comfy home. Sara left great instructions and we would definitely pet sit for her again :-)
