Taupo Waikato

Hello!!
We are looking for a kind animal loving person to come and house sit for us over the month of May. We live in the gorgeous suburb of Two Mile Bay in Taupo, we are surrounded by native bush and our home is very private, almost feels like a "tree house".

We have a 17month old golden doodle, and a 6 year old cat, we have 2 chickens as well.

Our golden doodle needs to be walked 2 x per day, once in the morning and then once in the evening, she is still learning her commands but is an enjoyable dog to be around.

Our cat needs jellymeat once per day as she has an auto feeder for her biscuits which will need to be topped up, otherwise she is self sufficient and will demand plenty pats from you!

Our chickens are laying so egg collection and tidying of their general laying area (laying boxes) are essential, as well as giving out peck and lay and oyster grout. They are friendly little chooks!!

As mentioned our home is surrounded by native bush, this can be messy at certain times of year (autumn) however we only expect minimal garden care such as mowing lawns and watering indoor/outdoor plants.

Please keep in mind we only have one carparking space at our property, however it is a 3minute walk to the lake for a swim, and approx 25-30min walk directly into town. We also live down 46 stairs, so unfortunately our home is not wheelchair friendly, house sitters will need to be physically able to mobilise up and down these stairs daily.

Taupo has so much to offer and we feel privileged to be able to share our piece of paradise with you while you care for our beloved animals!!
