My husband and I are looking for a responsible, caring pet/house sitter in May 2025. Our dogs are 12 year old ex shelter dogs with good natures (Jed and James). They are pretty happy relaxing for most of the day - they are inside dogs and love to share the couch at night. We have a fully fenced hectare in Riverton. We have an "acquired" cat (Simon) who lives outside with shelter in our garage as he is slowly getting used to the dogs. Inside time needs supervision. Our house is a 4 year old passive house which is a 5 minute drive to the beach and supermarket. Lots to do in Riverton, good shops and beaches and only 40 minutes drive to Invercargill. You will need your own transport.
We had a great time taking care of Candi's dogs and cat. Candi and Rog gave us all the necessary instructions and the communication with them was excellent. The dogs and cat are lovely, friendly and well behaved. The house is stunning. We had a wonderful time! Thank you :)
Such a beautiful sit in a warm and immaculate home. The dogs are a breeze to look after and the town of Riverton is great. James and Jed (the dogs) are fantastic company while you enjoy the breathtaking views from the house. I'd love to sit for them again.
