Welbourn New Plymouth

Three bedroom family home in Welbourn, New Plymouth. A few minutes walk to the beautiful Pukekura Park.

Dog is a 5 year old Boxer, she is a well trained inside dog. There may be a 7 year old labradoodle joining over this period too, he is also a well trained inside dog.

Mahi (the boxer) is a very affectionate, excitable, snuggly and gentle girl. She is great with kids and all people.
She has reasonable exercise needs, normally we do a combination of walking, swimming and playing scent work to keep her happy. She doesn’t need a walk every day but definitely needs to be around people. She can be left for periods of time, especially with the labradoodle around but would prefer company through most of the day.

Mahi is leash reactive, she is absolutely fine with familiar dogs but can be reactive with new dogs. She isn’t great on lead and does pull, so would need someone confident enough to work with this. We have a reasonable backyard that is big enough for throwing a ball and scent work if regular walks aren’t manageable though.

Reggie (the labradoodle) is also great with kids and very affectionate and gentle. Similar exercise needs as Mahi. They’re able to be walked together and get along extremely well.
