**House & Pet Sitting Opportunity: Experience Rural Living with a Lovely Dog!**

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual or couple to care for our comfortable rural family home while we head to the UK to visit family.

Our home offers:

Location-wise, we’re conveniently situated just:

- **5 minutes** to motorway onramps
- **10 minutes** to Silverdale shops, Orewa beach, bars, and restaurants

Our property is a **large, tranquil rural bush retreat** located on a private road with only 4 neighbors. It’s very low-maintenance, with most of the property covered in trees and bush. We’ll take care of mowing the lawns before we leave, and they shouldn’t need additional mowing over the winter.

**Meet Lupin, our beloved 5-year-old husky-German shepherd mix.** She is a friendly, independent dog who loves everyone she meets. She enjoys relaxing on the deck, zooming in the garden, or curled up on the couch with you while you unwind. Outside the home she’s full of energy and loves running, whether it’s chasing a ball or seagulls at the park or beach. In the house she is very calm and loves her space. She is great with kids too.

Lupin has a playful spirit and will happily perform her best tricks for a frozen sausage! She attends daycare (in Silverdale) a couple of times a week to socialize and play, we’ll arrange a concession card for her to be dropped off for full-day or half-day visits, giving you some pup-free time. We also have a car available for you to take her to daycare or on walks if you do not wish to use your own.

Though our property isn’t fenced due to its large size (2.74 hectares), Lupin is well-behaved off-leash. We have trained Lupin with an E-collar when out and about. We’ll provide full instructions on how to use it. She eats raw diet and some biscuits (2 meals), which we’ll make sure are fully supplied.

**Ideal candidates will:**
- Preferably be home most of the time (working from home, retired, or remote workers would be a great fit)
-Love dogs!
- Be clean & tidy and able to keep on top of general household tasks in our 270m² home
- Not leave Lupin outside for long periods unmonitored (we often leave her snoozing in the sun outside on the driveway or garden when we are home but are always mindful of her whereabouts.)

There is also an Airbnb apartment under the house, but it will remain unoccupied during your stay.
