We need a house sitter

Manawatū-Whanganui - Palmerston North

Janet

Our four bedroom, two-bathroom (one ensuite) family home is on a lifestyle block in Tokomaru, an easy 20 minute drive to central Palmerston North (just over 10 minutes to Massey), and a 10 minute drive to Shannon, As a family home we have soccer goals, basketball hoop, table tennis table, X-box and pool table available for use by all members of the family. We also have a large spa pool that easily accommodates 5 adults.

It's a semi-rural location with great views and a chance to be away from it all, but also not too far from the city when you need it.

We're open to the option of you bringing your own pet on agreement and discussion.

We have three family pets that need a small amount of care and attention (and infinite amounts of love if you so choose!):

Archie, is our super friendly and enthusiastic English Springer Spaniel, who loves pretty much all people and animals. He is used to spending his days at home, or coming out in the car with us (he's a super easy traveller in the car) but we have a secure lock-up for him when you need to head off for some hours where he is perfectly happy. Although loves it when you're back home! He's fed morning and night, no special diet. He generally needs to head out for a walk every day if possible - he loves to head out on his normal walks or exploring somewhere new - but is equally quite happy to be worn out by having the ball thrown for him (for hours on end if you let him!).

Our two cats - Jasmine and Trevor - both love a bit of a cuddle and smooch (on their own terms). We just generally have their food bowls topped up and they are grazers throughout the day and night. As a tom, Trevor often explores outside at night, while Jasmine loves a bit of attention in the evening. Jasmine has a litter tray (in the en-suite bathroom) that needs to be sorted every day or so.

We have six sheep that require pretty much no effort - just topping up their water (easy access) if needed.

Our five chickens are low maintenance - just making sure their water is topped up (the current water feeders generally last about a week once topped up) and they are fed once a day or so. Eggs collected daily, they've usually done their laying by early afternoon.
