We need a house sitter

Hi, we are looking for couple to housesit and look after our two dogs, Meg (5-yrs) and Kobie (4-yrs) while we are away in Europe.

We are rural with a recently built home. The dogs love to run around the garden and love a on lead walk up or down the road usually mornings depending on the wind and rain. Generally the dogs aren’t left for any more than 4 hours which usually allows for a nice brunch, lunch or dinner in Raglan. Ideally this sit would suit at least one person working from home.

We have a large garden that we would love to be looked after, watering the vegetable garden primarily. There is a vegetable garden that will have produce ready can be eaten.

As we are rural on tank water and gas cooking and hot water. The house has two working spaces, separate study and desk in library. Wifi coverage for working from home is very reliable.

Flights are to be booked once we have sitters lined up.

We really enjoyed doing this housesit for Melissa, Jane, Meg and Kobie. Ruapuke is absolutely stunning and the view of the ocean and the mountain is breathtaking! The dogs are absolutley beautiful. Kobie was a bit shy to start but is a big softie. They are addicted to the beach, and what a beach! We pretty much went every day. We had an incredible week house-sitting here! Kobi and Meg were very very sweet dogs, both so happy to be taken on their morning walks and equally happy lazing around the house and garden for the rest of the day. We miss their gentle natures and waking up to their wagging tails! The house and view are breathtaking and it was such a treat to have a large garden to walk around and fresh veg & fruit to pick! Staying at Melissa and Jane’s was such a wonderful experience for us. They have a very cool home in a beautiful location- the sunsets and access to the beach were amazing! They have an awesome vegetable garden that we enjoyed so much produce from. Raglan isn’t too far away, and we were able to visit for surfing and shopping with our car pretty easily.
