Tauranga

We are a semi retired couple who live on a kiwifruit orchard in the lower Kaimai region, just outside Tauranga. We have two cats and an old dog (labrador) who are all inside pets.
We are based here most of the year managing our orchard business, but during the quiet winter months we like to spend time in Europe doing some sailing, and visiting family and friends.
We need someone or a couple to take care of our pets and home from early May to early September, when we return for the kiwifruit growing season. The animals require feeding/watering twice a day and a couple of short walks for our dog. They also need, love, attention and company!
We live in a beautiful old home which is well insulated and has all mod cons, full central heating and an open fire. The house sits on 8.5 hectares (mostly kiwifruit) and provides a good walk with our dog etc. There is a well stocked vegetable garden to enjoy too!
There is absolutely no orchard work to do and we have a contractor to take care of the grounds.
All amenities are a 10/15 min drive away and Tauranga has great restaurants, cinemas & theatres etc. Stunning Mount Maunganui is also not far away.
