We need a house sitter

Manawatū-Whanganui - Palmerston North

We are looking for a reliable and confident pet sitter to stay in our home and care for our beloved pets while we are away.

About the pets:
- Maverick (Maine Coon indoor only cat) A big cat with big personality, requires someone confident with larger cats as he loves plenty of attention. He can be a bit of a handful if he manages to get outside so we need someone to be vigilant in keeping doors closed. For this reason we prefer no kids.

- Ella (indoor /outdoor). Low-maintenance and will often only come inside at night.

- Eden & Noah (outdoor mini lops) Require daily feeding and checking, but are otherwise independent.

The house is in a great location overlooking the Manawatu river and on the door step off many walkways, public gardens and bush walks. There is a pool and spa which you’ll have full access to use (spa may need to be topped up once a week).

It was a delight to look after Maverick, a personality-plus Maine Coon cat and Ella, a simply adorable Tabby. I fell in love with them both 😊. And of course I can't forget Eden and Noah, two very well-behaved rabbits. I arrived the night before the home owners left so I was able to see the feeding routine and make notes. Maverick is a magnificent boy and Ella is a delightfully sweet wee girl. Both cats were beautifully behaved and a pleasure to relax with at Nicole & Shane's lovely home. The bunnies were super cute and entertaining too. Great communication and I would happily housesit again if requested. in the future. Thank you for having me :-)

Nicole and her family were super welcoming upon my arrival. They showed me around and took me through pet care. The cats and bunnies were easy to care for and gave a nice routine to the day. The house was cozy and close to both downtown and river trails. Would house sit again in a heartbeat!
