We need a house sitter

We are looking for a house sitter for our place in the beautiful Aniseed Valley, only 15 minutes from Richmond. We are an easy walk to the river and reserves, 10 minutes drive to the Hacket.

The house is two storey with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Wooden floors inside and recently renovated kitchen. The house is set among mature trees, with a large deck, and plenty of Kereru and Tui's around.

We have a young cat and an older dog, two ponies, four pet sheep and nine chickens.

Our ideal sitter is tidy and responsible, has experience with animals and rural properties. In particular experience with horses is desirable. If that sounds like you, please get in touch.

Tina and David provided us with a superb house sit. We loved the experience. With the very best of rural NZ on our doorstep, we enjoyed the bush tracks, river reserves and farming lifestyle while only 10 minutes away from central Richmond. The chickens gave us an abundance of eggs to go with the plentiful asparagus. The sheep were easy to move, the horses so calm and obliging and the indoor pets were precious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time looking after Tina and David's property. While being in a quiet tranquil setting, it is only a 10 minute drive to Richmond. The horses, sheep and chickens were all easy care while Hank the dog and Lily the cat were really great company.
