Milton

We are lifestyle farmers who have sheep (approx 50 ewes and 20 lambs) at the time of the house sit. These will be very easy care with a daily check and possible electric fence set ups and paddock changes. There will possibly be a ram with them. We also have awesome neighbours who are happy to lend a hand if anything goes wrong. We live 5 mins drive to Milton township and 40 mins to Dunedin. We have a very happy, affectionate and geriatric farm dog who needs a small amount of walking every day, with arthritis medication given daily in food. Our cat is at present missing but we haven't given up hope that he may come home. We really would like housesitters to welcome him back if he returns. He is typical farm cat who is his own man, affectionate when he choses but often aloof.. We have hanging baskets and some container plants that need daily watering. Lawns will need to be mown. The rest of the garden is easy care. Our 15-year-old home is warm with heating mainly from a fire. There is loads of firewood. There is also unlimited wifi, Sky, Netflix and gas cooking and hot water as well as electricity (of course).
