I need someone kind and caring to look after my elderly mums cat, until I can find her a suitable home. Mum is now in permanent rest home care. Preferably one person.
Mum has a warm, sunny, private 2 bedroom townhouse located in Halswell, Christchurch. Close to the supermarket, shops, bars & cafes, and very close to Halswell Quarry where there are fantastic walks.
Halswell Aqua Centre and library are just down the road.
Close to public transport.
Please note mum has no wifi at her house so you would need mobile data.
The dishwasher isn't working at present.
Mum has a lovely tortoiseshell/tabby cat called Marley. She is a lovely gentle girl. She can sometimes be shy at first, however once she gets used to you she is fine. She needs to be locked in overnight, so she doesn't get into cat fights or get hurt.
There are some pot plants to water, and a sprinkler to be turned on for the garden.
I am sure you will enjoy your stay there 😃.
Jo’s place is a cute little place in a good location, She was really easy to talk to and arrange things with, and kept in good contact while away. Best of all, shadow the cat is super friendly, loving his time with humans. He loves to talk, play games, watch TV and cuddle up on the bed. He even followed me to my car on the street to say goodbye and have a cuddle on leaving. Adorable 🥰
Jo and her cat Shadow were absolutely wonderful!
We enjoyed each day in her quiet home in the south of Christchurch, and Shadow made for great company, often sleeping on the couch next to us.
Jo had great communication via phone and text (WhatsApp) and was very easygoing.
We fed and cared for Shadow, who was often out during the day (or sleeping). And we watered the plants and the garden a few times as needed.
The house was cozy and felt safe being down a driveway on a back section.
