Maungaturoto Kaipara

We are heading away to Europe and are looking for someone who will come to look after/keep our beautiful 2.5 year old rottie company while we are away.

We live in an old 1920's farmhouse which is being slowly renovated. We are located in Maungaturoto 5 minutes out of Maungaturoto town. (50min to Whangarei, 30 to Waipu, 35 min to Mangawhai, 1 hr 20 to Auckland)

The house is on 9 acres. She has lovely bones and needs some work, we have a newly renovated kitchen and lounge and the bathroom will be done before we go away, some parts of the house not yet renovated and not as pretty.

There is plenty of parking in the gated driveway for a caravan or campervan.

Our boy is very cute, he loves being around you but is also happy to amuse himself and sleep alot! He is spirited and sometimes excitable. Growing up rural he has not had a huge amount of exposure to young children so we are mindful that he can be too excited so it is best to not have families with young kids. He loves other dogs but also hasn't yet grown out of his puppy stage with them so doesn't always know when to give play time a rest or give the other pup a break.

We are hoping to find someone/a couple comfortable looking after/handling big dogs (Bentley is 40kg) someone who can work with him and his little quirks. He is a loveable boy who given the chance with curl up with you and loves his pats and kisses.
