Papamoa Beach Tauranga

This job requires a sitter to care for our two gorgeous Yorkies who love cuddles, attention, playing and walking. They are both very sweet and love each other.

We have had Awhi since she was a puppy - she is now 5 years old. She is calm and very well behaved although she loves to look longingly at you while you eat. Awhi requires hair brushing every second day.

Izzy we re-homed when she was around 18 months old. We have had her for almost 2 years. She is timid and cautious and takes time to warm to new people. She sometimes displays signs of anxiety such as licking or shaking. Occasionally she may urinate inside on the carpet if she is feeling scared. She can be reactive towards other dogs (barking or low growling but has never bitten or attacked). She requires gentle, loving, quiet care. She loves walk but needs to be kept on a leash because of tendency to bark or growl at other dogs.

Ideally they have at least one walk a day and are fed morning and night. Our property is fully fenced and they sleep in a crate at night.

Our home is located in Pāpāmoa Beach. From our house it takes 7-10 minutes to walk to the beach. The dogs love walking on the beach or around the streets.

There is a park, supermarket, cafe and bar very close to our home (within walking distance) and 2 larger shopping malls about 5 minutes drive in either direction.

The house has plenty of living space and several bedrooms. It is brick and tile and easy to live in and care for. We have an outdoor swimming pool and a basketball hoop. We have a long driveway that can accommodate at 2 vehicles so they are off the street. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with lovely neighbours.
