Stephanie

Modern 4 bedroom home with large grounds with rural views with 2 x dogs.

Dogs (Luna 4 years- mixed breed Siberian Husky/?) and Echo (Rhodesion Ridgeback 2 year old) both are free-range/electric dog perimeter fence, and need to be taken out to walk daily. They are both good on lead, preferable that sitter has vehicle to take dogs out. They are super friendly, Luna is very well trained/amazing recall, doesn't jump, Echo is very very chilled, and doesn't bite/jump. They both sleep/live inside but are not on beds/couches.

My husband and I had a wonderful time housesitting at Stephanie's over the long weekend. The dogs Echo and Luna were delightful to spend time with. They love pats and attention. We took them to the beach and they were so well behaved. Whiskey the cat is gorgeous too. The location is awesome, so close to Matakana village and an array of beaches. The house was well set up for us, and it's a great spot for summer with the outdoor areas to relax and hang out in.

I was happy to house and pet sit for Stephanie again, as they ended up traveling for longer. I adore her pets and have really enjoyed my time at her home. I am also thankful that I got to stay longer and meet her and her family. Stephanie is lovely and fun to chat to. She was always easy to reach while they were away if I needed to know anything, which made communication easy. I will always happily help Stephanie in the future with her home and pets if she needs me.

I so enjoyed house-sitting for Stephanie and her family, and looking after their sweet pets. She has such a lovable little crew. The dogs are so friendly and the cat is quite cuddly- they are very easy to love and I will definitely be missing them! Stephanie's home is beautiful. I really enjoyed looking out at the hills from her living room. The views are just stunning. I will happily help Stephanie with her home and pets any time in the future.

It has been an absolute pleasure looking after Echo, Luna & Whiskey. So well behaved, cuddly and affectionate. Exploring the local beaches with them was the highlight of our stay. Stephanie’s family have the most beautiful home, it was very warm & welcoming. The kitchen was an absolute dream to cook in and the guest room was fantastic. We absolutely loved this housesit. Luna, Echo and Whiskey are such lovely pets! They all took to us basically immediately, and we loved them instantly. We had so much fun spending (a lot of!) time on the beautiful, nearby beaches with the dogs. The dogs are happy, energetic, easy going, well trained and social to other dogs and people. Absolutely loved this house sit, Whiskey the cat is very independent but just so cuddly at night time. Luna the dog is beautiful and well behaved. It was fun taking her to the beach she is very social and loves to play with other dogs (and I hear she has a new playmate) The house is amazing and very clean and lots of places to relax and enjoy the lovely surroundings. Steph was great at communicating and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this house sit.
