Warkworth Rodney

The property is a 10 minute drive from Mahurangi College on the main highway into Warkworth, 20 minute drive to Matakana village and another 5 minutes to Omaha Beach. The home, a 1950's mid-century bungalow with original rimu floors, is situated on a beautiful peaceful 4.5 acre lifestyle block amongst sub-tropical gardens. I am a keen Permaculturist, growing much of my own food, no chemicals are used in the house or on the land. As a part of this practice I have 3 chickens and 4 ducks for their eggs and compost. The chicken need cleaning out weekly, a very simple job and the eggs need collecting each day, I am happy for the sitters to eat those they collect. The water in the penned area needs replacing weekly and topping up when necessary.
The dogs are labradors, brother and sister, coming up to 5 years. They have their own kennel out the back of the home where they spend their day, they do love their walks and cuddles, They come inside the home at night.
I have two outdoor cats, again brother and sister, who are happy to have cuddles and fed daily. They are extremely low maintenance.
Garden- watering if required and a general eye out, just depends on the weather
